Cancellation Request

If you purchased something and decided you no longer want it and would like to cancel, please notify us within 24 hours from purchase for a full refund. If the order shipped, you’ll receive an email notification, we can no longer cancel the order. A return request will be required once you receive the item for a refund. 

Return Policy

Not happy with your order? No problem! We’re here to help you every step of the way.

We do want you to love every item you purchase from CleverIdiot.xyz, but in case it doesn’t turn out that way, we have a 30 day return policy for most cases. Some products have different policies or requirements associated with them and/or noted in our Return Policy ExceptionsOur policy lasts for 30 days, so if 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

We recognize that returns are important to our customers. To ensure a positive shopping experience for all our customers, if we identify through electronic analysis an unreasonable return pattern, we may restrict or refuse future transactions from such customers at CleverIdiot.xyz.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Merchandise that is used, worn or in unsellable condition will not be accepted for refund, store credit or exchange.

If you decide to return one or more items purchased as part of a Buy One Get One (BOGO) or other dollar or percentage off promotion, a pro-rated portion of the purchase price will be returned to you unless all of the qualifying items are returned. 

Please note that depending on the reason for you returning an item, you may be responsible for return shipping costsShipping is not refundable on items returned due to customer preference/change of mind. Some items do offer “Free Returns” and that will be stated in the product’s page description. We strongly encourage customers to read the product’s page description carefully. Depending on the size of the package, a $3.99 or $7.99 return postage charge may apply and be deducted from your refund. We do allow the option for your own shipping method and we will refund you the full amount of the item (if you decide to go this route, any return shipping expense will be the customer’s responsibility and we will require a tracking number to be provided with a recommendation that the package be insured, otherwise we cannot guarantee that we received the item). 

If we sent you the wrong item, we apologize for any error made in the processing of your order and for any inconvenience it may have caused. Our Return & Exchange Policy makes it easy to correct your order, or get your money back. CleverIdiot does NOT charge restocking fees for returns of defective products. If you have received the wrong product or it doesn’t match what was shown on our site or we have made some other shipping error, there will be NO restocking fee and NO charge for a return label, provided the item is within its return policy period.

If you received extra items that are not yours, please call us at (516) 269 – 6249 with the information from the items that are not yours. You can also send us an email to [email protected] with the order number and tracking info, explaining what happened. If you are missing items from your order, please call us or email us with detailed information of what is missing so we can reorder it for you or reimburse you. If you received someone else’s order completely, please call us or email us for assistance with the order number from the order you did receive, as well as your order number so we can track your merchandise.

For international store returns it can take up to 25 days for an item to reach us once you return it. Once the item is received at our fulfillment center, it takes 2-3 business days for the refund to be processed and 3-5 business days for the refund amount to show up in your account.

Exchange (or Replace) Policy

If you would like to exchange an item, we suggest that you place a new order for the item you want before returning your original purchase. This will ensure that your exchange item is in stock. You are then welcome to return your original order for a full refund. Once we receive your return, we will process a refund for the cost of the returned item and send you an email.

If an item arrives defective or damaged, we will send you a replacement. However, we will need photos as proof for validation of the error to our shipping providers.

To ensure easy international exchanges, please reach out to our Customer Service Department before placing your new order.

Refund Policy

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed. All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment or a merchandise credit. You can choose between a full refund in store credit or a refund to your original payment method (minus return shipping costs, if applicable).

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at [email protected].

We will issue a refund on items that arrived damaged from transit and ONLY if we are unable to replace that item. We will require a photo of the damaged item.

We will not issue refunds for items confiscated by your local Customs. It is on the buyer to check with their local Customs office to make sure what they are buying is a product that does not violate local laws. If Customs should confiscate or return a package to us, a partial refund may apply. Otherwise it is up to the buyer for any additional shipping costs that may occur. CleverIdiot is not responsible for confiscated goods or un-deliverable goods.

Return Policy Exceptions

A list of a few items that are the exception to our return policy:

  • Gift Cards and/or store credit.
  • Clearance items (unless damaged or defective)
  • Personalized items
  • Items marked “Non-Returnable” on the sales or product page
  • Gift Wrap fees are non-refundable, unless an item is damaged or defective.
  • Items damaged though normal wear and tear
  • Downloadable software products
  • Under garments i.e. Lingerie, underwear, socks, under-tees, pantyhose, etc.
  • Due to safety hazards, items that use flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned through the mail, even if the item has been drained of these materials.
